A pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning in Hingham, Massachusetts, and the driver was also hospitalized.
Hingham Police confirm a Ford F-350 hit a 56-year-old Bridgewater woman on George Washington Boulevard around 11:15 a.m. She was taken to South Shore Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Plymouth County District Attorney identified the victim as Heidi Folsom.
The driver, a 23-year-old Hingham man, remained on the scene. He was also taken by ambulance to South Shore Hospital, but his condition was not made clear.
No charges have been filed against the driver. The crash remains under investigation.
