A man was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash Sunday morning in Highgate, Vermont.
Police say 54-year-old David Miller of Highgate was walking on route 78 near Rocky Maple Lane around 9:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the vehicle that hit Miller was likely a Chevorlet Silverado, Tahoe or Suburban; or a GMC Sierra, Yukon or Denali. The vehicle was likely a model year 2003 or later.
Miller was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a denim jacket at the time of the crash.
