A Massachusetts man was killed Thursday night after being struck by a van in Hull, state police said.
The 67-year-old Hull man, identified Monday as Robert Davis, was attempting to cross George Washington Boulevard at about 9:15 p.m. when police said he was struck by a Ford Transit van driven by a 49-year-old Hull man.
Davis was thrown into the roadway as a result of the crash. He was taken to South Shore Hospital with serious life-threatening injuries and later died.
The van driver, who was not hurt, remained at the scene.
State police are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
