Pedestrian Struck in OUI Crash in Weymouth, Massachusetts

A driver was arrested in a crash that left a pedestrian seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Police say 51-year-old Thomas Mohan of Weymouth was drunk and on drugs when he slammed into another vehicle and a 39-year-old Weymouth man at 396 Washington St.

The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries.

Mohan, the pedestrian and the other driver were all transported to South Shore Hospital, where Mohan was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and drugs, negligent operation causing serious bodily injury and marked lanes violations.

The crash remains under investigation.
