A pedestrian is facing potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car just before midnight on Tuesday.
Boston EMS have confirmed that one person was hit on Blue Hill Avenue near River Street in the Mattapan neighborhood around 11:38 p.m.
The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center.
Police are still investigating the scene of the accident.
It is unclear if the driver will be charged at this time.
