DA: 2 Women Hit by Vehicle in Westford Academy Parking Lot

A dog that was with the women at the time was killed in the crash

Two women were seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a school in Massachusetts on Wednesday morning.

Middlesex District Attorney's office said it happened in the parking lot of Westford Academy just after 6 a.m.

The women, both Westford residents in their 60s, were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to the DA. Their current condition is unclear at this time.

A dog that was being walked by the women was killed in the crash.

The driver, a man in his 60s, stayed at the scene. No charges have been filed against him at this time.

The school wasn't open at the time of the crash, and no students were involved, according to the DA.

The investigation is ongoing.
