Police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Boston on Tuesday.
The stabbing was reported shortly after noon in the area of 112 Southampton St., according to Boston police.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim in his 50s suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was taken to an area hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Boston police said there was a heavy amount of vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the area at the time of the stabbing and are asking anyone who saw anything that appeared suspicious to call homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
