Pictures Released of Bank Robbery Suspect

Police said a man pulled a black handgun at a teller and demanded money from a teller

Lincoln, Rhode Island, police released surveillance pictures Monday of man wanted in connection with a bank robbery.

Police said the robbery happened at about 3:55 p.m. Monday afternoon at the Bank of America branch on Smithfield Avenue.

Police said a man pulled a black handgun at a teller and demanded money from a teller. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money. He fled on foot heading southbound towards Pawtucket.

Police said the man described as lighter skinned, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slender build.

The suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray baggy sweatpants, blue athletic sneakers, a black mask, sunglasses, and dark gloves. The suspect also had a black nylon bag slung around his neck which he used to carry the black handgun.
