Vermont state police say a Pittsford pilot and his passenger were uninjured after their seaplane crashed and overturned in Chittenden Reservoir.
Police say the accident occurred Sunday just before noon.
Authorities say the pilot , 72-year-old James Booth, and his passenger, 69-year-old Cindy Steinmann, were not injured in the crash.
Police say they are working to remove the plane - which was floating upside down - as safely and quickly as possible.
Troopers say they are working with Federal Aviation Administration inspectors to determine the cause of the crash.
