Plane Goes Down in New Hampshire

A plane went down Friday in North Hampton, New Hampshire.

The crash took place shortly before 8:30 p.m. at Hampton Airfield. The pilot brought down an ultralight plane down and crashed into the canopy of a tree, suspended 40 to 50 feet above the ground.

No one was hurt, but fire crews had to put a ladder up to get the pilot down.

The plane had flown in from Kensington. When it took off from the airfield, it stalled and hit the tree.

The aircraft sustained only minimal damage. It has not yet been removed from the tree.

Earlier this month, two people were hurt in a fiery plane crash near the airfield after taking off there.
