Plenty of Sunshine and Low Humidity Expected for Thursday

Drier air continues to flow in from the north and the clouds break apart for most this evening. Tonight there may be some areas of fog developing across southeastern Massachusetts and coastal drizzle is possible through tomorrow morning. Lows drop to the 50s and low 60s overnight.

Thursday bring us another beautiful day, once the coastal fog burns off. There will be plenty of sunshine and highs again in the 70s to around 80 degrees and low humidity.

The persistent onshore flow will keep clouds around the coastline, and the cloud cover may win over for more areas on Friday. That means cooler highs in the low 70s, but the humidity will also slowly rise.

One other thing to watch is the pop up shower or storm chance each afternoon through the weekend. This will be mainly confined to the mountains until the weekend.

More humid air arrives for the weekend with Sunday becoming tropical. Highs will be in the upper 70s Saturday, to mid-80s Sunday. Clear The Shelters on Saturday will be mainly dry with below normal temperatures, with a small risk of an afternoon interior storm.

Sunday will be more humid with scattered storms across the interior. We keep it dry for the Falmouth Road Race in the morning, but it will be hot and muggy for runners.

Next week we will have another warm-up with highs around 90 on Monday. Since the humidity sticks around, we have a chance for pop up storms in the afternoon through mid-week. We're expecting a cool down to highs in the low 80s by the end of the 10-day.
