Police say one suspect is in custody after two men stole a taxi at gunpoint over the weekend in Springfield, Massachusetts.
The Springfield Republican reports the incident occurred on Riverside Road in the western Massachusetts city's North End section around 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
Police say two Hispanic men, one armed with a gun and the other a knife, stole the Yellow Cab car after its driver ran off to call for help. The driver was not injured.
Police say both the vehicle and the suspect in custody were located a few streets over from the scene of the theft. It's unclear if the suspects took anything from the cab.
The second suspect is still wanted.
