A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking her dog Tuesday morning in Acton, Massachusetts, police say.
According to Acton Police, crews responded to Revolutionary Road after the crash was reported just after 8 a.m.
The woman, a 75-year-old Acton resident, was unconscious, but breathing, when police and fire crews arrived on the scene.
She was taken by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston where she later succumb to her injuries.
Authorities have not said whether the vehicle remained on the scene.
State police are investigating the cause of the crash.
