Police in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, are investigating an attempted abduction and say there are similarities between this case and five other cases of attempted abductions in the state.

Police say a girl was approached by a man driving a dark gray sedan during a soccer game at the "Fruit Street Athletic Complex" Wednesday night.

Investigators say the girl ran away and told her coach. The suspect was described as a white male in his 50s, with a thin build, gray hair and sunglasses.

Officials say the man was actually playing soccer on the field with kids before he approached the girl and asked her for directions to Bill's Pizza. Police received dozens of tips after the incident.
