Two underage females were taken into custody over the weekend after police responded to a report of a large party at a New Hampshire hotel.

While officers were en route to the Hawthorne Suite Hotel on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack early Sunday morning, they received another call of a fight in the parking lot.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they could not locate a fight, but the investigation brought them to a room where they located two females identified as Mariah Vitali, 18, and Tenysha Garvin, 19. A large amount of alcohol was also found in the room.

Both Vitali and Garvin were taken into custody. Outside, officers located two 16-year-old males who had been dropped off at that location. They were placed into protective custody and were later released to their parents.

State Police also responded to assist with the original report of a large fight.
