Police: Drunk Driver Crashes Into Snow Bank

New Hampshire State Police say a woman who crashed a vehicle into a snow bank was under the influence of alcohol and will be facing charges.

Police responded to the scene on Route 16 near Exit 12 in the town of Rochester around 2:46 Wednesday morning.

They report that Jessica Starkey, 22, of Greenland, lost control of her 2000 Ford Ranger and drove over a cement island.

The vehicle then rotated and came to rest in a snowbank. No other vehicles were involved and there were no injuries.

Starkey was taken into custody and charged with felony reckless conduct and driving while intoxicated.

She was released on personal recognizance bail and is due back in court May 6.
