More than $45,000 worth of marijuana plants was discovered in a wooded area off of Route 6 in Massachusetts earlier this month, according to authorities.

Westport Police say officers were acting on an anonymous tip when they found about 30 mostly fully grown marijuana plants in the woods behind Jiggs and Pine Streets on Sept. 18.

The marijuana, which was labeled with names and planted inside buckets, was growing about 30 feet from of a lightly walked path along Bread and Cheese Brook behind a camouflaged fence-like structure, according to police. Authorities also found a gas-powered pump, a power inverter and a water hose wth grow chemicals and PH test strips.

The plants were removed by four members of the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Search and Rescue team, and Westport Police continue to investigate the grow.
