Police: Firework Explodes on Vehicle

Crews in Nashua, New Hampshire, say they found one device that had detonated and another that hadn't on a vehicle, but determined they were large fireworks.

Police in Nashua, New Hampshire, investigated after a large firework exploded on a vehicle early Saturday morning.

Nashua Police responded to the report of an explosion on Vespa Lane around 2:30 a.m. and found two devices - one had detonated and the other had not. The department's hazardous device unit investigated and determined that both devices were fireworks.

The vehicle sustained minor damage and no one was injured. Police do not believe there is any threat to the public.

Officials are working to determine the source of the device.
