Police Investigate 3 Possible Drug Overdoses, 2 Fatal

Police in Salem, New Hampshire, are investigating three possible heroin overdoses over the weekend, two of which were fatal, including a man found unconscious lying next to his 4-year-old daughter.

Police said the 23-year-old man was found in a bedroom Sunday morning. He was later pronounced dead at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Massachusetts. Earlier that day, police went to the same residence and found a 24-year-old woman suffering from a possible overdose. The Salem Fire Department administered the drug Narcan and the woman was taken to the hospital.

Police responded to the first case on Saturday afternoon, finding a 20-year-old man who was not breathing or conscious. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released their names.
