TripAdvisor headquarters was hit by a bullet Wednesday morning. It broke through a fourth floor window and startled employees inside the Needham, Massachusetts office.
Police say it happened around 7 a.m.
No one was injured but plenty of people were nearby.
A TripAdvisor spokesperson declined to comment.
For some workers nearby, this shooting hasn't shattered their sense of safety.
Police say it appears to be an isolated incident but they're not sure if this was an accident, a random attack, or if the travel website was targeted.

As the investigation continues, it was business as usual at the company. Other than the bullet hole, just inches away from a desk and computer inside the office off of Route 128.
Needham Police are working with State Police on this investigation. They say they'll have an increased presence in the area and again they're asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them.
