Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at the 99 Cent and Cigarette Market on Kelley Street in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The suspect covered his face with a black bandanna and asked for cash, according to police. They say he was armed with a small, black handgun.
He is described as approximated 5'10" in his early thirties. Police say he has light facial hair and spoke with an accent.
The clerk stopped the robbery and chased the suspect out of the store. A witness last saw the suspect running towards a nearby address.
The investigation is on-going.
