Massachusetts police are investigating after a body was found Saturday morning on a beach in Hull.
Police said officers responded to the Pemberton Point area at about 9:25 a.m. after receiving a report of the body lying on the rocks by the water.
Authorities said the deceased man was also found near an overturned kayak.
The man's identity is not being released pending identification and notification of next of kin.
The incident remains under investigation by Hull Police and the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the district attorney’s office.
