One person is dead following a shooting in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. on Millet Street in Dorchester, where one adult male victim was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Boston Police do not believe the shooting was a random act. A tentative identification of the victim has been made, but his name has not been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
