Police Investigating Shooting Death in Manchester, NH

The Attorney General's office said the shooting doesn't appear to be random and there is no threat to the public

Authorities say they are investigating a shooting death in Manchester.

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Carlo Capano say in a Friday statement that the shooting death happened around Union Street between Webster Street and North Street.

Law enforcement officials have not released additional details. They say it doesn't appear to be a random act, and that there's no threat to the general public.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to call Manchester police.
