A 74-year-old woman is missing from Cranston, Rhode Island, according to her family.
The Cranston police department is investigating and believes Sharon Garber walked away from her residence in the Garden Hills neighborhood.
The family told police Garber was discovered missing around 9 a.m. Sunday.
Garber, of West Blue Ridge, is approximately 5'4", 125 pounds with shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.
A Code Red notification was sent out Sunday.
Police are very concerned due to the extreme weather conditions and frigid temperatures.
Cranston officers have been searching the immediate area and will continue to expand that search in an exhaustive effort to find Garber.
