Man Accused of Exposing Himself Near Charles River

Police arrested 24-year-old Gordon Trammell after he allegedly exposed himself to people in Waltham, Mass.

A man was arrested after police say he exposed himself to people in several Massachusetts communities.

Gordon Trammell, a 24-year-old Waltham resident, was arrested by state police Friday. Police say he exposed himself to people on the Riverwalk, which runs alongside the Charles River through parts of Boston, Newton, Waltham and Watertown.

The scenic path is a common place for families, bicyclists, joggers and walkers. People who live nearby were shocked.

"I walk this path every day and never seen anything like that," said Greg Franks.

"Now that I know about this, I guess I'd make sure I'm not out after dark," said Jackie Hartley, who normally walks there with her dog. "Before, I wouldn't have hesitated to do that."

Trammell is charged with two counts each of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. He also faces individual counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and witness intimidation.

Anyone with information is asked to call Massachusetts State Police at (617) 727-4812.
