Maine police say a South Portland man faces multiple charges after firing a gun at another vehicle in what they described as a "road rage" incident.
Police say 33-year-old Sean Johnson is charged with driving to endanger, reckless conduct with a firearm, violation of probation and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
Necn affiliate WCSH reports that the driver of the targeted car drove to the Scarborough police station with a bullet lodged in the car door Saturday night.
Scarborough police say Johnson was arrested after engaging police in a high-speed chase and then fleeing on foot into the woods. They say they found a gun buried in leaves after the arrest.
It was not immediately known whether Johnson has a lawyer.
