Police: Man Pointed Gun at Bouncers

A man has been arrested after police say he pointed a gun at two bouncers when he was being removed from a New Hampshire bar late Friday night.

Gregory Cummings, 34, of Rochester, was arrested after the bouncers wrestled the semi-automatic handgun from his hands and pinned him to the ground until police responded to the Portsmouth bar around 11:50 p.m.

Cummings was being kicked out of the Thirsty Moose on Congress Street when he allegedly pulled out the laser-equipped gun and aimed it at the bouncers.

Police charged Cummings with reckless conduct and criminal threatening by use of a deadly weapon. Both counts are felonies.

Cummings is free on $5,000 personal recognizance bail. He is due back in court on May 18.
