Police: Motorcyclist Killed After Crashing Into Guardrail in Burlington, Mass.

The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation

A Massachusetts man was killed on Sunday after his motorcycle crashed in Burlington, according to state police.

The crash happened at 4:20 p.m. on the access road to the Middlesex Turnpike off Route 95 northbound.

Police said a preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcyclist somehow veered his Honda into the guardrail and was thrown off of it.

The operator, a 67-year-old Woburn man, was found unresponsive when troopers arrived. The man was transported to Lahey Hospital in Burlington, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.

The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of his family.
