A Vermont man accused of murdering a man during a family fight is being held without bail.
Vermont State Police say Ryan Bacon is charged with first degree murder in the death of 68-year-old Lou Schneider.
Officials say Bacon shot Schneider at his home in Greensboro Sunday night after an argument over Bacon's mother turned violent.
Witnesses claim Bacon told Schneider he would kill him before going to his truck to get a rifle.
Police say Bacon turned himself in to police Monday night.
Bacon has pleaded not guilty.
