Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney's Office say a woman was found dead Tuesday morning outside an apartment complex in Lawrence.
The district attorney's office said the woman was found at the entrance of the Rita Hall Apartments at 490 Hampshire Street. Authorities said the victim died between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Police had asked for the public's help in identifying the woman but now say they know who she is. Authorities however, are not releasing her name pending notification of her family.
Police say the woman's death is considered suspicious and remains under investigation.
