Police: New Hampshire Child Suffers ‘Significant Injury'

Police got a call around 8:20 p.m. Monday that said a child was injured.

New Hampshire State Police are investigating the injury of a child that happened Monday night in Tamworth.

Police got a call around 8:20 p.m. Monday that said a child was injured at 196 Deer Hill Rd. Authorities described the injury as "significant."

No other details were provided.

Police are investigating the cause of the injury. The Carroll County Sheriff's Department and the Tamworth Police Department are both helping in the investigation.
