They say Taja Perry was involved in a car crash in Providence just before noon Saturday. The 26-year-old Pawtucket resident was taken into custody after appearing intoxicated.
She was arraigned on charges of driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance (Adderall), driving without a license, driving in possession of a controlled substance, and obstructing an officer.
Perry was released and turned over to a responsible adult. She'll be formally arraigned Dec. 1 in Third Division District Court in Warwick.
