Police say one person was killed in a shooting in East Boston late Friday night.
According to a police spokesman, there was one fatality at a residence in the 800 block area of Border Street.
Police responded to the area at 11:53 p.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting shots fired in the area. On arrival, patrolmen located a 29-year-old man with multiple gun shot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Taquise Johnson, 29, of Boston.
