Police responded to a body found on behind a package on Barbour Street in Hartford on Monday afternoon.
Officers put up crime scene tape around Blue's Package Store at 139 Barbour Street. The body of a man in his 30s was found in an abandoned garage behind the store, according to Deputy Chief Brian Foley.
Police have tentatively identified the victim as a 33-year-old Windsor man.
There were no obvious signs of trauma to the body, but police are treating the death as suspicious, Foley said.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was called to the scene to investigate the cause of death.
