Police in New Hampshire responded to multiple crashes in Merrimack Thursday morning

Police in New Hampshire responded to multiple crashes in Merrimack Thursday morning.

At 4:15 a.m., a New Hampshire State Police trooper responded to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

The tractor-trailer was off the right side of the roadway of the F.E. Everett Turnpike.

The driver, Justin Daka, 67, told police he lost control of the vehicle due to road conditions.

He was not injured and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Daka was cited for speeding and for a highway markings unbroken line violation.

Police also responded to the scene of a rollover crash at 7:15 a.m. just south of the Exit 11 ramp on the Turnpike. The operator of the truck, Sean Perkins, 20, said he drifted into a snowbank upon attempting to merge into another lane.

He was not injured, but his vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
