    Mother, Baby Hit by Car in Boston

    A mother and her baby were hit by a car in the Roxbury section of Boston. (Published Friday, Feb. 19, 2016)

    A mother and a baby were struck by a vehicle Thursday night in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, police confirmed.

    Police say the woman was carrying her 5-month-old child across Humboldt Avenue when they were struck.

    The victims were taken to Boston Medical Center with head trauma.

    Both are in critical condition.

    Police say the driver did stop and is cooperating with police.

    The incident remains under investigation.
