Police Searching For Man Who Exposed Himself Near Andover, Massachusetts School

Police say the man was outside of his vehicle while kids were outside at recess

Massachusetts police are searching for the man they say exposed himself twice near an elementary school in Andover on Monday.

Police said the man was parked in the Main Street parking lot next to St. Augustine Elementary School while children were outside at recess.

"It is disgusting, there is no doubt. Bad things are happening everywhere," said Sue May, who lives across from the school. "You hear about it, I hear about it on the news. I'm very surprised that it happened here."

May added that she expects the town's police to ensure the safety of children.

Authorities said some children reported seeing the man outside of his vehicle exposing himself.

Witnesses told police the man then pretended to get on his cell phone and turned away from the students before putting his phone away and exposing himself again.

The man is said to be in his 20s and is described as having a slender build. He was driving a silver or black sedan, possibly a Honda or Volkswagen.
