Police Searching For 2nd Burglary Suspect in Brookline, Mass.

Brookline police are searching for a second suspect involved in a home invasion that occurred on Friday in Brookline, Massachussetts.

Police report that during a patrol in the area of Griggs Road and Griggs Terrace, an officer saw two men acting suspiciously.  One of the men was walking down a driveway on Griggs Road.  A few minute later, the officer saw another man, near 549 Washington St., jump into a blue Honda Accord and head towards Beacon St.

The officer conducted a traffic stop, and during the stop, a call was made from the home from which the first man was seen walking away, regarding a breaking and entering.

The residents of that home reported that they heard noises coming from upstairs, and when they yelled, the noises stopped.  They noticed obvious signs of a break in and called 911.

The officer conducting the traffic stop then took the driver of the Honda Accord into custody, and that man is facing charges of breaking and entering in the day time.

The case is still under investigation.  the Brookline Police Department asks that if anyone was in that area, or witnessed anything suspicious to call the police.
