Police Searching for Frozen Shrimp Thief

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect

Police in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, are seeking the public's help in locating a man who stole several bags of frozen shrimp from a local supermarket.

On Wednesday, Portsmouth Police responded to the Shaw's at 1600 Woodbury Ave. for a report of a past tense theft. Store surveillance video was provided to police that showed a male subject arriving at the store in a silver sedan. The man got out of the car and entered the store with a grocery cart. He proceeded to a display with frozen shrimp, took several bags of shrimp and left the store without paying.

Police said this same type of crime has been committed in other Shaw's stores in Londonderry, Hooksett and Windham, New Hampshire.
