    Police Searching for Missing Newton, Mass. Woman

    Christine Totten, 52, has been missing from the Nonantum area since 7 p.m. Monday.

    Police in Newton, Massachusetts are searching for a woman missing since Monday night who could be lost and experiencing a medical emergency.

    Christine Totten, 52, has been missing from the Nonantum area since 7 p.m. Monday.

    Totten is described as 5', approximately 124 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She walks with a limp, is blind in one eye and needs medication for her diabetes.

    Totten was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt with jeans and a teal jacket, carrying a black backpack.

    Margaret Newsum, 93, had no idea that the Camp Fire was rapidly approaching her Magalia home until her caretaker left for the day and she turned on the television. She was quickly rescued by her friend Dane Ray Cummings, who decided to break company policy and rescue Newsum with his Waste Management truck. KCRA reports.
