Police are searching for a suspect who stole the cash box from a Girl Scouts troop in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Police are searching for a suspect who stole the cash box from a Girl Scouts troop in Rochester, New Hampshire.

The Girl Scouts of America were selling cookies at the main entrance of Walgreens at 104 South Main Street on Friday. Around 6:43 p.m., a suspect allegedly approached the cookie table and grabbed the cash box. He fled in a vehicle with two other suspects inside.

The suspect is described as 5'8" and was seen wearing a black hat and a blue Patriots jacket. The vehicle, which fled up Winter Street, is a green Toyota Camry with New Jersey plates.

According to police, the vehicle was later located in the area of Winter Street and Adams Avenue, but the occupants had fled on foot. Rochester Police and the K-9 Unit conducted a search, but the suspects were not located.
