Police Seek Help in Identifying “Armed” Robbery Suspect

Robber demanded money from store clerk in Springfield, Mass.

Police in Springfield, Massachusetts, are seeking the public's help in identifying an "armed" robbery suspect.

On Oct. 11 at 10 p.m., the subject walked into the Racing Mart at 685 Summer Ave. armed with a handgun, and demanded money from the store clerk.

The employee looked at the gun, and determined in his mind that it was fake, and refused to give the suspect any money.

The would-be robber panicked, and his mask fell from his face, exposing the top part of it.

He fled the store without any money, and got into a Honda Accord that was reported stolen in East Longmeadow earlier that day.

This person is suspected of other robberies of Pride Gas Stations in the city over the past few weeks.

Anyone with information is asked to call: (413) 787-6355.
