Police confirm a missing 10-year-old Massachusetts girl has been found safe after they asked the public's help finding her and her mother, who does not have legal custody of her.
Lydia Davis was reported missing by her father. She was believed to be with her mother, 35-year-old Thereas Beaudette, who police said picked her up from another relative's home in Webster at some point on Tuesday.
The child was not in school since. On Thursday, Webster police were notified that Beaudette, her daughter and another relative had arrived at a shelter in Milford.
Webster Police announced after 5:30 p.m. that Davis had been found, thanking Massachusetts State Police, Northbridge Police and everyone who shared the child's photo.
