Police in Rumford, Maine, are looking for a missing 3-year-old girl.
Officials tell NECN affiliate WLBZ that Kylee Morin had been with her 22-year-old mother, Elsa Konopka, but that her legal guardian is the Maine Department of Health and Human Services.
Konopka was last seen Monday. She did not appear with the child for a scheduled visit.
Morin is described as being about three feet tall and 45 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
When neighbors saw Konopka, she was riding in a light-colored station wagon driven by a man. Police say she has ties to Lewiston and family in the area of New Vineyard.
Anyone with information is asked to call (207) 364-4551.
