    Police Seek 'Strung-Out' Suspect in Store Robbery

    Police in Salem, New Hampshire, are searching for a man they say robbed a store Tuesday night.

    The robbery happened at the Petlife store at 517 So. Broadway St. around 7 p.m.

    Witnesses told police a "strung-out" man walked around the store for about 20 minutes before he approached the front counter and demanded money.

    When the clerk refused, the man made gestures and verbal threats indicating he had a gun. The man got an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot before being picked up in a truck.

    The suspect is described as a man between 35-45-year-old, 5'10" and 240 pounds with a trimmed beard.

    No one was injured.
