Boston police responded Saturday evening to reports of shots fired in Dorchester, but did not find anyone shot when they arrived on the scene on Kingston Street just before 8 p.m. Officers did, however, find multiple shell casings on ground.
Additionally, an 8-year-old girl was treated at the scene for an abrasion, but it was unclear whether her injury was a direct result of shots or not. The girl was not transported from the scene.
Boston police say the investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
