Police Still Searching for Suspects in Man's Shooting Death

Vermont State Police still have no suspects in the shooting death of a man whose body was found partially covered in snow on the side of a road.

Authorities say 49-year-old Greg Davis, of Danville, was shot multiple times in the head and chest before his body was found in Barnet Sunday. Vermont State Police Captain Dan Trudeau tells WPTZ-TV he estimates Davis died sometime Saturday evening.

Police say the shooting was not random, and there is no threat to the public.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the state police Major Crimes Unit.

Detectives from the unit are being assisted by the FBI, the U.S. Marshal Service and the office of the United States Attorney.
