Police say a teenager found a gun in the street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and accidentally shot his friend.
Lawrence Police Chief Roy Vasque says a 16-year-old boy found a gun, brought it home, and shot his friend, also 16, on Center Street.
The boy's injuries are not life-threatening.
Police are investigating.
