Police: Teen Arrested for Driving 127 mph

New Hampshire State Police arrested a motorist who allegedly traveled at 127 mph in the town of Northfield.

A state police aircraft was patrolling above I-93 when a vehicle was spotted traveling at a high rate of speed. Troopers were able to clock the vehicle at over 100 mph, with 127 mph being the highest rate of speed.

The motorist, 19-year-old Ryan Quinn of Newport, Rhode Island, was arrested. He is charged with reckless driving and two counts of possession of a controlled drug. He will appear in Franklin District Court on Jan. 13.
